How to use this course
Lal Kitab ("the Red Book") is a distinctive system of Indian astrology famous for two things: a simplified, house-based chart and simple, inexpensive remedies (upay). This course teaches the complete method, from building the Lal Kitab chart to karmic debts, timing and remedies, using the same anonymous Example Chart A as the Parashari, KP and Bhrigu Nandi Nadi courses, so students can compare all four systems on one horoscope.

A note on variations
The original Lal Kitab texts are written in Urdu, in a compressed, poetic style. Different commentators interpret them differently, especially on house exaltations of Rahu and Ketu, the lists of artificial planets and the karmic debts. This course follows the most widely used modern interpretations and marks the places where teachers differ.
